Trainees who feel that they have any other type of dispute with the Institute should speak with the Student Life and Advising Officer. If the resultant solution is still unsatisfactory, trainees may escalate the matter to the Deputy Director by completing the Non-Academic Grievance and Appeal form. If the resultant solution is unsatisfactory, trainees may escalate the matter to the Managing Director. Decisions made by the Managing Director are final. Procedures for Non-Academic Grievance and Appeal Following are the proper procedures for resolving non-academic grievances and appeals: 1. For a start, the trainee shall speak with the Student Life and Advising Officer. If unresolved, he/she may complete the Non-Academic Grievance and Appeal Form and submit it to the Student Life & Advising Office, Deputy Director. 2. The trainee should provide a clear and concise statement of the grievance/appeal, the remedies sought, and a request for a meeting with the involved person or persons. 3. The Student Life & Advising Officer shall schedule a meeting to discuss the matter with the trainee within 5 working days after receiving the form, with the Deputy Director. 4. If the trainee is not satisfied after seeking consultation at the Deputy Director’s level and wants the grievance or appeal to be considered further, the trainee shall appeal in writing to the Managing Director to seek a resolution within 5 working days after the deputy director has completed the consideration of the grievance.

The trainee must explain, in writing, the incident that affected him/her during the program. He/she should also explain why the case could not be resolved and listed the related personnel involved if any.
