Procedures for Academic Misconduct Appeal

The following are the proper procedures for resolving academic misconduct for BA UXGD and BFA:

1. Student receives a copy of the Academic Misconduct Letter of Reprimand with an option to appeal within 5 working days.

2. The student disagrees with the violation and intends to submit an appeal.

Student to follow up by:

a) Submitting an appeal by filling in the Academic Misconduct Appeal Form.
b) Providing a substantial explanation of his/ her claim of non-violation.
c) Providing relevant evidence supporting his/ her claim of non-violation.

3. The SLA Counselor will present the appeal to the DigiPen (Singapore) Provost and may arrange for a meeting.

4. The SLA Counselor informs the student of the outcome of the appeal. The Provost's decision is final.
