Rules and Regulations
Read these rules carefully before entering the Game Jam. By entering the Game Jam, you are indicating your acceptance of and agreement to be bound by and comply with these rules. Bushiroad or DigiPen (Singapore) reserves the right to modify these rules and jammers will be deemed to have received notification of such modified rules and accepted such modified rules by virtue of such jammer’s continued participation in the Game Jam. Should a jammer not wish to continue to participate in the Game Jam pursuant to the prevailing rules, as modified, the jammer may terminate participation in the Game Jam upon notice to DigiPen (Singapore).
• The Game Jam is only open to all current DigiPen (Singapore) students.
• Registration is free of charge.
• All interested students must register by 5 June 2019. Late registration will only be considered on a case-by-case basis.
• Theme will be revealed on day 1, 15 June 2019.
• Jammers may assist multiple teams. However, each jammer will only be able to register to one team. Teams will only officially register their members when submitting the final build of their game (Day 2).
• Each Team Representative will be responsible for filling up the submission form provided on the day of the event. Team Representatives must provide the on-site moderator with the submission form when submitting their game before 16 June 2019, 12:00 p.m.
• Jammers are allowed to work on their games anywhere besides SR2F TESLA after the official kick-off from 15 June 2019 at 10:00 a.m. to before the submission of the game on 16 June 2019 at 12:00 p.m.
• Jammers are not allowed to stay overnight on campus.
• Jammers are allowed to use their own laptops and can use any game engine/tools they are comfortable with for the game jam (e.g. Unity, ZERO Engine, Game Maker, Photoshop, 3DS Max etc.).
• Jammers are allowed to use open source assets.
• Judging is based on the game version submitted to the submission folder.
• Games should be created on the PC platform for the Game Jam but with mobile controls in mind.
• Teams may create as many games as possible within the given time. However, each team can only submit one game for judging.
• Bushiroad will own all copyrights of the respective games. Jammers are allowed to showcase the games in their portfolios.
